By Folder Properties
Step 1: Go to the target folder and right-click on it. Step 2: Click on ‘Properties’ and navigate to ‘Security’ tab. Step 3: Click on the ‘Edit’ button to change permissions and now select the user account that is active. Step 4: Tick on Deny column for “Full control” and “Modify”, untick on Allow column for “Full control” and “Modify” option. Step 5: Click on Apply and the OK to save the settings. Using CMD (Command Prompt)
This is a more secure way to make a safe folder. Step 1: Type “CMD” in Windows search bar and right-click on it to Run as administrator. Step 2: Enter the drive name in which you want to create the folder and type in the following line. Step 3: Now you can go to the location where you created the folder and you will see a folder named “con”. You can try deleting it and it will not delete. Note: The downside is that you can’t move or browse this folder using file explorer, to move items to it, you will have to use the move command in CMD. And if you want to delete the folder, then also you will have to use CMD as it won’t delete using file explorer. Follow the steps below to delete the folder. Step 1: Type “CMD” in Windows search bar and right-click on it to Run as administrator. Step 2: Enter the drive name in which the folder is present and type in the following line.
