There are a lot of different ways to be online these days. If you’re looking for someone, you just have to know where to look. There are a lot of different places to be online these days, and if you’re not careful, you’ll end up being online no matter what. So if you’re looking for someone, make sure you know where to look and find the right person.

Social Media

LinkedIn is a great resource for finding job openings and networking with potential employers. It also has a great feature that allows you to see what other professionals are saying about a certain company or position.

LinkedIn and Facebook are two of the most popular social networking sites on the internet. They are designed for people to reveal everything about themselves, and they do.

Former US Marshals who were involved in the Witness Protection Program say that a lot of people in the program were eventually found by their enemies because they kept updating their social media pages!

Facebook

If you are looking for someone who is over 50, it is likely they have either deactivated their Facebook account or never created one in the first place. ..

-The person’s location -The person’s interests -The person’s schedule -The person’s mood -The person’s personality

Zachary Zucker is more likely to show up clearly on a computer screen than John Smith. If they are still living in the same area where you saw them last, identifying them might be a problem. If they have information on their profile that makes it obvious it is them – photos, former schools, former employers, etc.

If you’re looking for help, try contacting the alumni association at your former school. They may be able to provide some insight into what happened there and how to get in touch with the people who were there.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a great place to start if you want to build a career. It has all the information you need about the person, their entire work history, location, schools, etc.

It can be satisfying to look up the former bullies and discover they are now flipping burgers at Burger King or cleaning toilets. ..

Search Engines

The next step is the search engine which more or less means Google.

Google can help you find information about people by providing a search engine for specific topics. Newspaper articles can be indexed on Google so maybe the person did something noteworthy that got them into the news?

In a recent article, I learned that my friend, who I knew for many years, had recently been released from prison. I was curious to learn more about this man and his life since he was last seen. Additionally, I wanted to see if there were any obituaries or articles about him that had been published recently.

Some search engines that specialize in specific information are:

  • Ancestry.com
  • Google
  • Yahoo!

The slightly annoying thing is that many of these websites cover the United States only.

Phone Books

A Google search of “phone book” + “your country” will bring up the directories. But when checking for this article, the site for US numbers was down. The British equivalents are BT and 192 Directory Enquiries.

Prison Databases

If you want to find out what prisons are in your area, or if you just want to know what jails are open in your town or city, you should look on Google.

In the UK, you must email the Prison Service and request that they look for you. Then the prisoner has to consent to their location being given.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBP) maintains a database for federal inmates. This website links to prisoner locator tools for every state in the US.

Local Newspaper Archives

If you’re looking for a specific article or story from a specific newspaper, you can try using a search engine like Google or Yahoo. However, many newspapers have their archives behind paywalls, so it may not be the best option.

I’ve had success before, so it’s worth it.

If All Else Fails – Follow The Friends & Relatives

If you don’t find the person you’re looking for, look for them. If they’re not in touch with the person, look for them.

If someone has changed their name due to marriage and you don’t know the new name, look in their friends and relatives’ friends lists on social media. If the person is there under a new name, they may be able to help you find a new name.

Ancestry.com is a great resource for finding relatives if you don’t know them. Enter the person you’re looking for then it will tell you their relatives’ details. It’s all public record so you’re not doing anything wrong.
